I wanted to share with you a new binding system I created for mini-albums, I’m calling it the ‘Kiss Hinge’.

I wanted to make something that was easy to cut on the Silhouette Cameo (it can also be cut by hand) and also very easy to assemble.

So pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea and take a look, I think you will agree it’s a very easy tutorial!

I was inspired to create this svg paper cutting template after creating the artwork for a Kudu antelope vector file.

I added a dimensional mask card with adinkra symbol motifs, which is 'sculpted' by gently folding along the perforated lines.

I then added a gift card pouch with uses a tribal motif as an enclosure to hold the pouch flap down.

I'm quite excited to have finished this funky 3D Boombastic Box, it features a working tape slot and tiny cassette tape.

I recently finished designing this 3d papercut Colourwing Butterfly as an SVG cutting file for electronic plotters such as the Silhouette Cameo.

The wings feature cut out coloured vellum paper and the the butterfly sits on a triangular stand. I was inspired by glass in stained glass windows and also the utterly gorgeous Glasswing Butterfly. Click here for the SVG files
