Silhouette Cameo Notebook tutorial

Hi all, I’ve been making lots of these dinky little notebooks on my Silhouette Cameo lately so thought I would share a tutorial.
Picture
First design the pages in the silhouette studio software

Make a rectangle to the size you require your pages, it will be double the size of each page.

Then using the guides (or grid) find the centre of the rectangle, and make a perforated line there, this is where you will fold each page.

Now we will design the spine.
Make a line which is the same height as the page you just made.
Picture
Duplicate it and move the new line approximately 10 centimeters away from the original line, then make 7 more duplicated lines.

The select all the lines and using the align window click on ‘Space Horizontally” and also make all the lines perforated.

Then draw a rectangle around the lines which is the same height as the pages you made earlier.

You are now ready to cut your design on your electronic cutting machine.
I made a short clip of my silhouette cameo machine cutting.
Then fold the spine material in a concertina style as shown in the picture below, then glue one of the sections

Insert a folded page into the section and continue until all the sections are full.

Then glue the outer spine sections and secure them with a clip (or just hold them) until the glue has dried.
Your notebook is now finished :)
